More like 3.5 stars than just 3, but definitely not 4.
It was good, a certain page turner, I read it in less than 24 hours and its only 300 pages long.
Trapped on an island newly-wed Abigail comes face to face with the one night stand man she met at her bachelorette party - coincidence? Maybe if it weren't for the fact they are on a tiny private island only accessed by a 6 private charter plane.
I really enjoyed the speed in which the whole story unravels and enjoyed reading the book despite working out exactly what was going on very early on in the plot. I do love how all of Swansons books are COMPLETELY different. I can see where the negative reviews come from but if you read this for what it is, a cult style thriller (and don't read too much into the misogynistic billionaires club or the fact Abigail should NEVER have married Bruce when she was clearly having doubts) you'll enjoy it but I can’t say I'd recommend it as up there with his best novels (The Kind Worth Killing and Eight Perfect Murders)
Hubbys reading it now so we’ll see what he thinks!
