BOOK REVIEW: The Crucifix Killer | Chris Carter ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Review Date - 15 March 2021

This year Hubby and I challenged ourselves to read the first of a series and this was my pick!

I have wanted to read this series for some time now and I am so glad I did, it was

FANTASTIC.

Originally written and published back in 2009 the written style is occasionally a little dated and not quite as polished as some of the modern day thrillers but the plot makes up for it in spades!

LA Detective Robert Hunter is everything you expect from a homicide cop and I can see how Chris Carter will develop his character over the coming books, a thrilling page turner of a crime thriller that is totally gruesome and well worth a read, fans of The Perfect series by Helen Fields will love it.

WARNING: it is highly graphic and disturbing at points so not for the faint hearted. Heavy themes of violence, gore, drugs, prostitutes, rape and death
