A huge thank you to the author and publisher for sending me this book, it is absolutely gorgeous, such a refreshing light hearted read exploring the importance of connection and friendships and of course a love of gardening.

I love Vera and felt every breath of her isolation moving from the country to an apartment block in Brisbane, it must have been such a daunting move as a widow and her resilience is beautiful, her chapters were some of my favourite in the book and the author does a fabulous job of bringing her alive in.

The characters are all written superbly and I really enjoyed getting to know them, laughing and crying along with their every success and failure.

This book will bring light into your life and find you turning each page with a smile. I couldn’t wait to read more of each of their stories but equally didn’t want it to end! It was a welcome break from my go to thriller books and I highly recommend you grab the tissues make a cuppa and read this book!
