What a phenomenal debut! Full of snarky one liners and dark humour this atmospheric thriller will have you racing to the end. I loved to hate main character Florence with her endless bad decisions and whiny attitude and very much enjoyed the chapters set in Morocco

I do wish the blurb didn’t reference the car accident because it’s a long time coming and the lead up to it just feels like filler and backstory so you’re kind of skin reading to “get to the good bit”. The chapters after said crash are wonderfully written and the more we learn about Helens character the more I enjoyed the book.

I won’t say much more as I don’t want to spoil the book as it is well worth the hype and you should definitely add it to your TBR if it’s not there already! A big ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from me!
